I saw Lungfish play at NYU in the mid 90’s. I was the youngest person there and I felt like I was only 1 of maybe 5 people who knew who they were. Their set was mesmerizing and overwhelming. It was the first time I had been to a show where it felt like you weren’t just watching a band but you were witnessing something somehow bigger. This video doesn’t capture that, but watching it I remember the feeling. And now I just wrote about it so you can feel it to. Great, right? Almost transcendental? That’s the power of the written word. Get into it.
