I am beyond proud to say that we have a story in issue #2 of Occupy Comics which is available now. Our 3 page story “Single Family Home” was drawn by the amazing Joe Ruff and colored by the also amazing Adam Geen. With cover art by David V For Vendetta Lloyd who is “joined by Pulitzer nominee Matt Bors, Obama’s terrorist pal Bill Ayers, Molly Crabapple (arrested Monday during an Occupy protest in New York), Patrick Meaney (director of Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts), and more” including Mike Madman Allred, Riley Cowboy Ninja Viking Rossmo, Si 2000 AD Spurrier, Shannon Too Much Coffee Man Wheeler, and Ryan To Teach Alexander-Tanner.
The issue is only available to Kickstarter backers for now, but they should feel free to share it with anyone who wants it. If you can’t find someone who has it shoot me an email and I might be nice to you.
Regardless of your politics, the book offers a lot of really intelligent insight into American discontent and some amazing comic storytelling and art. It is well worth your time to give it a read.
All proceeds from the book are donated to the Occupy movement. The beautiful hardcover is available for pre-order now through Black Mask Studios.
